osama

president obama announced tonight that osama bin laden has been found and killed in pakistan.  probably the most important statement made in this president's first term.  large crowds are gathering in front of the white house chanting 'yes we can' and 'yes we did'.  i am wondering how this will play out in afghanistan and pakistan and the rest of the arab street where this sort of news is personal.  i am wondering what sort of retaliation insurance osama had set up in the event of his capture or death.  but above all i am glad he was finally found and i am happy it happened under obama's watch.
